Frequently asked questions
My reminder didn't fire. What happened?
Notification reliability depends on your device. Open your phone's Settings → Notifications → Remindly and confirm notifications are enabled. On Android, also enable 'Schedule exact alarms' and disable battery optimization for Remindly. On iOS, make sure Focus modes aren't suppressing notifications.
Where is my data stored?
Entirely on your device. Remindly has no servers, no accounts, and no cloud sync. Uninstalling the app deletes all your reminders permanently.
Can I sync between my iPhone and Android?
Not today. Remindly is local-only by design. Each device has its own list.
Why isn't there a Monthly repeat option?
Monthly local notifications have known reliability issues on iOS (Apple's calendar trigger may behave inconsistently across months). We intentionally offer one-time, Daily, and Weekly to keep behavior predictable.
How do I delete all my reminders?
Delete them one by one from the list, or uninstall the app to clear everything at once.
Is there a web or desktop version?
No. Remindly is mobile-only.
How do I edit a reminder?
Tap the pencil icon on any reminder card. Make your changes and tap Save Changes. The notification (if enabled) is rescheduled automatically.
